Healing and Support with Angie Doel, M.S.

Trauma-informed support for partners impacted by infidelity, sex addiction, and chronic betrayal.

Individual Relationship & Recovery Sessions

Who This Works For

1:1 sessions are for partners who have experienced:

  • Infidelity or emotional/physical affairs
  • Sexual addiction or compulsive sexual behavior
  • Chronic deception, gaslighting, or double lives
  • Discovery trauma (recent or past)
  • Ongoing triggers, hypervigilance, panic, or rage
  • Loss of identity, self-trust, or emotional safety

You do not need to know whether you are staying or leaving, or to be “calm” or “clear.” You just need support that understands betrayal trauma.

What Makes This Support Different

  • Trauma-first approach: Safety, stabilization, and nervous system regulation come first.
  • Your responses are valid: Treated as trauma reactions, not relationship problems.
  • No blame, no shame: You are never responsible for your partner’s betrayal or addiction.
  • Practical & structured: Sessions give actionable tools, not just open-ended venting.

You will leave each session feeling more grounded, clear, and connected to yourself.

What to Expect in a Session

  • Understanding betrayal trauma and why your mind/body feel out of control
  • Calming techniques for triggers, panic, or overwhelm
  • Practical strategies to rebuild self-trust and emotional clarity
  • Guidance for setting boundaries and making grounded decisions

Full Therapeutic Disclosure

A Full Therapeutic Disclosure is a structured, guided process designed to bring clarity, truth, and accountability into a relationship impacted by betrayal. This process is not about punishment or relieving guilt—it is about creating a foundation of honesty that allows for informed healing and the possibility of rebuilding trust.

Because disclosure can be emotionally intense and deeply impactful, it is facilitated in a supported, intentional environment to ensure both partners are prepared and cared for throughout the process.

The Disclosure Process

The Full Therapeutic Disclosure process is completed in stages, allowing time for preparation, emotional processing, and integration.

1. Preparation Phase

Both partners work independently with appropriate support to prepare for the disclosure. This includes emotional readiness, boundary setting, and clarity around expectations. Rushing this stage can be harmful, which is why preparation is prioritized.

2. Formal Disclosure Session

During the disclosure, the betraying partner shares a structured, factual account of relevant behaviors and events. The focus is on clarity and transparency—answering the “what, when, and where” in a contained and guided setting.

This step is often emotionally significant and marks the beginning of a shift toward truth and stability within the relationship.

3. Clarification & Processing

Following the disclosure, the betrayed partner has the opportunity to ask clarifying questions in a supported environment. This allows for a deeper understanding of what has been shared, rather than fragmented or ongoing disclosures that can cause additional harm.

4. Impact & Restitution

The process includes space for the betrayed partner to express the emotional impact of the betrayal, as well as an opportunity for the betraying partner to respond with accountability and understanding. This stage supports validation, emotional processing, and movement toward repair.

What to Expect

✔️ A structured, therapist-guided process

✔️ Emotional support for both partners

✔️ Clear boundaries and expectations

✔️ A focus on truth, safety, and stabilization

✔️ Time between stages for integration and processing

This process is not rushed and is designed to prioritize emotional safety over speed.

Investment and Scheduling

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to begin the Full Therapeutic Disclosure process.

This deposit secures your place in the preparation phase and allows for the coordination and planning required for a structured disclosure experience.

Additional fees will be discussed based on the scope and format of the disclosure process.

Important Considerations

Full Therapeutic Disclosure is not a self-guided or informal conversation. Attempting to disclose information outside of a structured, supported environment can lead to further emotional harm and destabilization.

This process is intended to be completed with appropriate professional guidance to ensure both partners are supported before, during, and after disclosure.
